Diving into the coral reef

In our Marine Invertebrates I section, we work with a variety of fascinating animal groups.
These include corals, jellyfish (Cnidaria), sponges (Porifera), tunicates (Tunicata), and a group of single-celled organisms called foraminifera (Foraminifera). Our scientific collection contains historical and modern material from all over the world.

We are looking for motivated individuals to support us in advancing fundamental projects in our section:
  • Cataloging literature in the library database, as well as organizing and restructuring the library
  • Viewing, organizing, and digitizing slides taken during expeditions
  • Preparing object data, such as researching location data from expedition reports for cataloging our collection objects

If you are interested in supporting us with the above projects, please let us know and we will arrange a meeting.
